UNITE to RESTORE and RENEW America.
I truly believe it is time for new representation in Washington. I believe we have the ability to turn this seat into a representation of conservative values in government, and I want to be part of making that happen. It is time to get rid of weak and failed leadership and bring new energy to our government. The livelihood and destinies of Minnesotan's that are at stake are too great to dismiss. It seems, for too many years, our state has been taken over by Democratic leadership with policies that wreak havoc on Minnesota families, their businesses and their land. The time is now to stand up - we are going to flip this seat, and I will lead you in doing that. I started off in this Senate race as an Independent. When I was asked to run in 2024, I said yes. There were a few concerns I had over time about this trajectory. I heard people say, "You're going to have a hard time getting elected as an Independent." True, though I need to say I respect the Independents I got to know for their bravery and commitment to freedom. I found their values to be very American and straightforward. For me, I was consistently drawn back to my strong moral ideals. I could not apologize for being PRO-LIFE, PRO-TRADITIONAL FAMILY and PRO-CONSTITUTION. I found myself in and around Republicans at many of the gatherings that were important to me. From the changing of the Minnesota flag without voter input to the importance of protecting children from gender mutilating surgeries at a young age , the issues and objectives I am passionate about are too important to negate. I didn't care for the inner party turmoil I'd seen in politics over the years. I pulled back from this to do the work in my community of starting a community-owned natural food co-op in 2019 to bring life and health back to my area - I even ran as a Democrat twice because I saw the benefits of working together through this work. Co-ops are democratically governed - not necessarily politically but in their governing structure. This model got me thinking about how pulling together with people creates something so much greater than any one of us can do on our own. I decided to run for office in 2020 and I had a lot to learn, but I still stand by the statement that we are better together, stronger-together, and we need to UNITE to RESTORE and RENEW America. What happened in Minnesota through the death of George Floyd was devastating for the people involved, and it spread across our entire nation. The devastation tore us apart as a nation, and we remain divided in our politics, government, and our everyday lives. I believe that if what came out of Minnesota through this tragedy could spread pain, devastation, and division across America, then what we do in Minnesota to affect healing, hope and restoration could also spread across America. The difference could start here. We could do nothing and remain divided and stuck, or we could initiate to restore order and bring hope and renewal across our nation. We have a golden opportunity to bring America back together - to UNITE, RESTORE, and RENEW. These are the reasons I am running - for Minnesota, for renewal, for America.
ABOUT ME
Putting My Experience
to Work
I was born and raised in Glencoe, Minnesota—right in the heart of our state’s farmers, families, and foundational values. Growing up surrounded by the people who feed, build, and shape our communities instilled in me a deep respect for dedication, integrity, and resilience.
Public service and political engagement have always been part of my life, thanks to both family influence and personal involvement. In 2002, I had the opportunity to intern in a Congressional office in Washington, D.C.—an experience that gave me a firsthand look at the workings of our nation’s capital and sparked an even greater desire to serve.
I come from a long line of bold and hardworking entrepreneurs—from a family-owned circus to farming and insurance. I’ve seen up close what it takes to blaze new trails in Minnesota. That entrepreneurial spirit lives on in me.
In 2018 and 2019, I organized and launch Greener Pastures Natural Food Co-op in McLeod County. With a handful of dedicated volunteers and a community that believed in the mission, we built the co-op from the ground up—without startup funding or backing from industry leaders. What we created together was more than a store—it became a hub for education, local produce, and meaningful connection.
Launching and sustaining a grassroots initiative during some of the most turbulent times—marked by COVID, economic uncertainty, cultural shifts, and labor shortages—was no small feat. But we proved something important: that with grit, vision, and community, renewal is not only needed—it is possible.
Now, I carry that same spirit with me as I seek to bring new life to Minnesota’s rural communities and strengthen the backbone of our local business infrastructure. I believe in the future of our state—and I’m ready to fight for it.
In November 2023, we made the difficult decision to close Greener Pastures Natural Food Co-op due to structural issues with our building and the challenge of securing a new premises. This pause is a chance for us to reflect and envision a stronger future for our initiative. Our journey thus far has been rich with learning, and we are determined to leverage this knowledge in our next chapter.
In 2020, the United States faced unprecedented challenges. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, government-imposed mandates and restrictions were enacted that were unconstitutional—posing a serious threat to the foundational freedoms and democratic principles upon which our Republic was built.
Simultaneously, the death of George Floyd in Minnesota ignited a wave of civil unrest that quickly spread across the nation. Cities descended into turmoil as violent demonstrations, looting, and the destruction of property unfolded. Shockingly, many of these actions were permitted, or even tacitly condoned, by elected officials in Democrat-led cities and states. Historic landmarks, local businesses, and entire communities suffered irreparable harm.
Rather than fostering unity and constructive dialogue, these events were leveraged by special interest groups to advance partisan political agendas during a critical presidential election year. The resulting atmosphere was one of division, instability, and widespread disillusionment.
Now, in 2025, under the renewed leadership of President Donald J. Trump, our nation is undertaking the difficult but necessary task of restoring order, upholding the rule of law, and returning to the time-honored values that made the United States the most prosperous and free nation in human history. These values are not rooted in chaos or anarchy, but in the enduring, divinely inspired principles of liberty, justice, and individual rights enshrined in our Constitution
I believe in the intelligence, ingenuity, and resilience of the people of Minnesota. Our state is home to some of the brightest minds and most valuable resources in the nation. Together, we have the power to help restore our country and lead with hope and vision for America's future. It would be an honor to represent the values and spirit of Minnesotans as your Senator in Washington, D.C.
